Elkhorn Country Club is a Private, 18-hole golf course in Stockton, California.
The course at Elkhorn, designed by Bert Stamps, is laid out among large, mature trees and several lakes. The course first opened for play in 1963.
The terrain is mostly flat, while the fast greens are well bunkered.
Par for the course is 71. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,559 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5,794 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 8, a par-5 that plays 532 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 2, a par-3 that plays to 155 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 8, a 532-yard par-5 challenge, and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 16, a 213-yard par-3.

Pace of play is a tough one. I played in a twosome and we got behind a group of 5 ladies that would not let us play through. Over all it is a great course and is one I would play regularly if I lived in the area. When I go back I will play it again. The staff was great.

Good for the area, but flat and through houses, although there is plenty of room for error on most holes.
